What Our Guests Say

I really liked this hotel. Location is good. Close to Thamel and easy access to everything I wanted to do. At the same time it is tucked away from the rush of the city. Hotel itself feels brand new, I guess it was recently renovated. It has a great Tibetan feeling but modern at the same time. Staff professional but friendly and engaging. I would happily stay here on any future visits.

Hotel with oodles of local character and atmosphere Room was spacious, food lovely, great roof terrace, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast every day and the evening meal was delicious. We were presented with scarves when we arrived and left, which made us feel really welcome We loved the Hotel Tibet and highly recommend it.

Amazing...! If you ever wanted a taste of Tibet, this is about as close as it gets. It's like a Hotel cum Tibetan monastery...the decor is stunning. I stumbled upon Hotel Tibet because it was close to all of the foreign Embassies. Later I was surprised to find out that a close friend had been staying here for years. It's nice to be so close to the center, and yet this place is very quiet and peaceful. The location is central for restaurants, and coffee shops, and the hotel itself has the best of of these, including a Spa. The staff go out of their way to help, and make you feel at home. This is my first visit to Hotel Tibet, and it won't be my last, as I intend to make Kathmandu/Nepal a regular stop in my yearly travels.
